The Independent General Practice - Wellness Medicals
The IGP was the first Private GP Practice in Wales to be Registered with the HIW (Health Inspectorate Wales).
Wellness Medicals are designed to give you a full picture of your current health status. The Medicals we offer are initially split into three main categories - Standard Wellness Medicals, Well Man / Well Woman Medicals and Senior Wellness Medicals.

In addition to the standard tests we are also able to offer Chest X-Rays and exercise ECGs (Electrocardiogram) used measure the rate and regularity of heartbeats.However, if you have any specific enquiries or areas of your health that you wish to investigate please let us know when booking your appointment.
All of our Wellness Medicals come with a Pre-Wellness Medical Questionnaire designed to collect as much relevant information about your current health.
Appointments initially last for around one hour. Once we have all of your results we will produce a full report, which can be delivered to you along with any recommendations in a follow up consultation either at one of our surgeries or over the phone if it is more convenient.
Please be aware that all of our medicals are fasting medicals and require that you do not eat and only drink water from 12am the night before.
