If you are attending an appointment in Bristol Spire Hospital, please read the following protocol of what to do when you arrive.
Take M4, Junction 19 and head South-West on M32, which becomes A4032. Turn right onto Bond Street (A4044). At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Stokes Croft/Cheltenham Road (A38). Go Past Colston's Girls School and take the 4th left onto Zetland Rd (B4054). At the small roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Redland Rd. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Redland Hill (B4468) and the hospital will be on you right hand side.
Head South-West on M5 and take Junction 17. Take the A4018 exit to Bristol (W). Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Bristol (W) / Severn Beach (B4055). At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Merlin Rd (A4018). Continue to follow A4018. After about 4 miles turn left at Redland Hill (B4468). Take the 1st left for the Hospital.
Head North-East on M5 and at Junction 18 exit toward A4 / A403 / Bristol / Avonmouth / Docks. Take the exit toward A4 / Bristol / Shirehampton. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Avonmouth Road (B4054) heading to Shirehampton. Continue to follow B4054 and then turn left at Cross Elms Lane (B4054). Continue to follow B4054 and then at the White Tree Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Westbury Road (A4018). Turn left at Redland Hill (B4468). Take the 1st left.
All IGP GP Consultations are carried out in HIW or CQC registered clinics with experienced GMC registered practitioners.
The cervical screening tests for HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). If HPV is identified a further PAP smear test is carried out at no extra charge to identify any changes to the cells in the womb. If changes are identified and not treated these cells could develop into cervical cancer.
Vitamin B12 is given as injection (usually the top of the arm) for the treatment of those with a Vitamin B12 deficiency.
