The Independent General Practice provides a service for DNA and paternity testing via a company called Cellmark. Cellmark provide our doctors with the testing kit, which is then sent to Cellmark's labs for analysis.
DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) is the body's genetic blueprint from which an individual's characteristics are determined. DNA paternity tests are most often used to positively identify relationships between people and it can be used to establish if a man is the actual biological father of a child.

Attend the appointment with IGP IGP send the collected sample to Cellmark for testing.

Please note that IGP will only charge you a standard 20min consultation fee for the appointment. However, Cellmark will have thier own fee for the test itself.
If you cancel your appointment 24 hours before it starts, then you will receive a full refund. However, If you cancel your appointment within the 24-hour period before the appointment is due, then you will be liable to pay the cost of the consultation. If you do need to reschedule please contact us as soon as possible.
