If you are concerned about an existing or potentially new condition or have symptoms which you would like reassurance about, we can now provide testing kits which are sent directly to you at your home. Our testing kits are specially designed for testing yourself at home, when you are unable to attend one of our clinics.
Our Covid-19 Antibody tests, for confimation of past infection, are now available for in clinic tests for home testing.
Home testing works in a similar way to conventional in clinic testing, except the tests have been designed so that the sample requirements are a lot smaller or easier to obtain yourself.
Following a consultation with one of our doctors we will send you one of our home testing kits on the same day.
When you receive the home testing kit, simply provide a sample as requested and return to the lab using the self address envelope.
As soon as the lab is able to generate a result they are automatically sent to the doctor to deliver your results.
Please watch the video below for instructions on how to collect a blood sample using our home testing kits. Or view the information sheet provided in the link below the video.
We have a range of tests available, from helping you learn more about your long-term health to helping you investigate how to improve your energy levels and sleep. Our experienced Doctors can assess, advise and assist in identifying the right tests for you.
Low energy levels are often indications of a nutrient deficiency, an underactive thyroid, or a hormonal imbalance. There are also some health conditions, like diabetes that can also cause low energy levels.
Liver function, Hormone and Nutrient levels can all have a significant effect in how your body performs and recovers from exercise.
With increased age, the risk of nutrient deficiencies also rises, so it is often advisable to monitor some of these key measures, such as Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D.
Nutrient deficiencies and hormonal imbalances are often linked to feelings of low mood and difficulties in concentrating. Issues such as these can also increase your risk of developing anxiety or depression.
Issues with Sleep, such as struggling to fall asleep or waking up through the night, are often linked to nutrient deficiencies, liver function, or certain health conditions.
Struggling to lose weight or put on weight for no reason can be linked to an underactive thyroid or low levels testosterone. If you are overweight it is also advisable to assess your liver function and diabetes risk.
Below is a list of the type of things we can test for using our home tests. If there is something not on the list, please contact us to see if it is available for home testing.
In addition to the tests below, we can also provide some testing via urine and swabs, such as U/E or PAPT/HPV smear testing.
